Earthquake

I was on my study table when I felt the earthquake occured and I saw my bed was shaking. I thought it was just my feelings. Later that nite, when I was chatting with my friend on the net, I felt another one and that was kinda big as I can see my study-table was moved. ANd again, I realised an earthquake just happend and not once but twice. I was scared because since my first year, I haven't felt that kind of earthquake. AnD today, in the news, I saw the lady said " yesterday, there was an earthquake..blah blah and it happend 9 times yesterday throught NZ especially Wellingotn, Porirua and Marlborough Sounds and the highest was 4.4 on the Richter scale and it mite going to be another one tomorrow". Wow freaky. I read the news on the net and found out he first part that got hit was Porirua (its kinda 1/2hours drive from where I live) . The quake, which struck at 1.38pm, was centred 30km northwest of Porirua and was 50km deep. Wow that was big and the earthquake occured not just once but 9 times in one day yesterday. Luckily I didnt feel all of it, if not I mite going to think its end of the world *wink*

Blog

If some of you have ever noticed, my blog has been different from the previous ones. Its because I have made some major changes in it. First, the lines btwn the headblog and the post have been missing. So I decided to fix, but due to my minor knowledge in HTML codes, I accidently screwed up the whole thing. I lost all of my stuffs. Second, I have lost some of the major HTML codes in the blog and I must say it is not ez to find it. Took me about a day to finish up everything. I was pissed and angry and devastated. I have put alot of my effort in it and within few seconds everthing's gone. I was nearly to cry but I didnt give up. I took the effort of building the new blog. I picked up the new templates and after picking up quite few of it, I didnt like the colour and didnt know how to organise the HTML codes. Few templates have different side of HTML codes, e.g like this blog, the HTML sits on the right side, so everything has to be on the right side and you can't just put the link without have something that makes it run the links. Yeah its sounds so complicated. I had to go through the HTML code all the times in the "blogger help" section. I also had to learned bulding website in a hard way. I am no computer science students. I am not that smart but I have effort and spirit to learn about other things. SO wallaa..here I am. Finally know bits and pieces about building a blog.
Discusss hte links between:

1. Some of the feminist criticisms of mdernist science/social science and of orthodox (neoclassical)economics.

2. What it counted valued as work and;

3. the varied position of women today in paid work in Aotearoa/New Zealand (as compared with men and varying amongst women).

argh..what is this???why is it so hard to be discussed. It may look Ez but when I tried to find the answer in the book or on the net, took me ages to get the right answer..damn!! why can't they jsut ask us the discuss somethingelse..more interesting than this thingy :-(( waaaaa..hard hard..its due tomorrow by the way..stuck..my brain is stucked..officially. I think I mite just tuck myself to bed and think about it later..

What does LOVE means?

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds,
"What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:

Jessica - age 8
"When my grandmother got arthritis,
she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore.
So my grandfather does it for her all
even when his hands got arthritis, too. That's Love.

Rebecca - age 8
When someone loves you, the way
they say your name is different.
You just know that your name is safe in their mouth

Billy - age 4
Love is when a girl puts on perfume and
a boy puts on shaving cologne and
they go out and smell each other

Karl - age 5
Love is when you go out to eat and
give somebody most of your French fries
without making them give you any of theirs

Chrissy - age 6
Love is what makes you smile when you're tired

Terri - age 4
Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she
takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."

Danny - age 7
Love is when you kiss all the time.
Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more.
My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"

Emily - age 8
Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas
if you stop opening presents and listen,"

Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)
If you want to learn to love better,
you should start with a friend who you hate,"

Nikka - age 6
Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt,
then he wears it everyday."

Noelle - age 7
Love is like a little old woman and a little old man
who are still friends even after they know each other so well

Tommy - age 6
During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy wavingand smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore

Cindy - age 8
My mommy loves me more than anybody.
You don't see anyone elsekissing me to sleep at night."

Clare - age 6
Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken

Elaine-age 5
Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty
and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."

Chris - age 7
Love is when your puppy licks your face
even after you left him alone all day."

Mary Ann - age 4
I know my older sister loves me
because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones

Lauren - age 4
When you love somebody,
your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you"

Karen - age 7
Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet
and she doesn't think it's gross."

Mark - age 6
You really shouldn't say 'I love you'
unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget,"

And the final one --

Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest
he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

(Now this will melt your heart.)
The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor
was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing theman cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor,
the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry.

"How do you know love when you see it?
Love is also Emails from people who don't have time to write but let you know they care about you...think about it..

Mencari kasut kulit buaya
Seorang perempuan yang sangat teringin memiliki kasut dari kulit buaya. Dia
pun pergi ke sebuah kedai kasut tetapi kecewa kerana kasut kulit buaya
harganya sangat mahal.
" Mahal sangat nie", kata perempuan itu.
"Kalau ingin murah pergi la tangkap buaya sendiri," kata pemilik kedai
kasut.
kelihatan berada ditengah-tengah sungai sedang menembak senjatanya kearah
seekor buaya lain. Bunyi tembakan terdengar, kemudian perempuan tersebut
menyeret buaya keempat yang baru di tembaknya ke tebing dan kemudian
menyumpah, "****, yang ini pun tak pakai kasut."

1.46AM

it's 1.46Am and im still staring the monitor screen. I was supposed to be studying for my test on Thursdays instead im doing nothing except staring at the screen. Im such a screw-up student. I can't even remember what I have read the whole nite yesterday. All I cud think about what am I going to do tomorrow morning (shud I go to Gym or lying lazly on my bed??!!)Damn!!!Damn those thoughts. Distractionss..lots of distractions..I am seriously stress whereas before I hardly get stress-up. But now Iadmit Iam stress..I feel I wanted to ask for extension on taking the test. I dont think I can do it. Seriosly. Jz Look at the last year questions :

Define this:
1-GROUP SELECTION
2."MICKEY MOUSE" PROBLEM
3.MEMEPLEX
4.INDIRECT ALTRAISM
or
1. EXPLAIN THE THEORY OF RELIGION AS "MINIMAL VIOLATION OF INTUTIVE EXPECTAITONS" AND GIVE AT LEAST 3 CRITICISM AT IT.

2. PICK ONE BIOLOGY THEORY OF RELIGION (SPANDELIST OR ADAPTIVIST)AS ASSESS IT'S THEOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS FOR ONE SPECIFIC RELIGIOUS TRADITION.

--what the hell was that?? arghh I don't even know the answer!! I cud answer as Mickey Mouse is a cartoon character which has influence the young adults to become a entertainer in the future ;-) heheh how's that for an answer?..how does mickey mouse got to do with religion studies? what it has to do wit it??arghh such a complicated question with needed a serious answer. Damn..what shud I do? i need to pass this test..it is 40% to pass the course. if its only 10%, i dont need to study this hard..*gaps*..well well who ask myself to get involve in the religious studies at the very first place.(my conscince): i think religious studies is ez. u learn about how people found religon and how they think it is the way of life. Myself: well its wrong , u idiot. Its is how people think and how they debate about which is the best religion and how people change to become a religious people. It's not jz an aspect of life, it is also a fundamental issues in everdaylife. People always debate to show which of them has the bestest religion and how religious they can be :-)

Speaking of religion. 2 days ago, i was reading the issues about "how to burry the Muslim who have died tragically in Acheh". Should they been burned or burried? in utusan malaysia. Some of the religious people have believed that Muslim should be burried in islamic ways and no burning involves because it is against the rules of islamic. Allah has forbid each Muslim to be burned like other religion. But some have believed that in some situation where you do not have enough space to burry them and you are desperated or to prevent from spreading any germs or disease, you are "allowed" to burned them. I remember when I was in school I remember my "ustazah" (a muslim lady teacher) once told me, " if you are in the middle of the jungle and there is no food except the animals you are forbidden to eat, you are allowed to eat it even though the animals are forbidden to be eaten by muslims. In this case, you are desperate as you do not have anythingelse to eat.so you are allowed" Am I right?

yey!

yey!!!.. finally I have finished decorating my blog. Took me abt 3 hours to complete everything( including putting my picture at the rite place. Boy that was hard!!)..anyway..walla..everything finished and I am happy..Je'taime moi blog..:-)

I havent been really updating my blog as U know everybody in this world is busy helping the "tsunami victims" and as for me, I have been busy reading the news in the newspaper. Lots of deathtol raising everyday, people missing elsewhere and people are suffering from the traumatic of tsunami. I mean it is shock and suprised, who isn't? It happend in ASEAN countries. We know that ASEAN countries such as MALAYSIA and THAILAND do not stand on the line of the earthquake. But likewise, Malaysia and Thailand are being effected by other countries such as Indonesia and India. I have been having conversations with my friends over and over about "tsunami". It is sad, heart-broken and unexpected. But it had already happened and all we can do is praying for the tsunami victims to be strong to face any upcoming events in the future.

*people are dying everyday, is this the sign for the end of the world?* go FiGuRe..(Pray For Mercy From God before it's too late to be forgiven)
